This has been one of those weeks, filled with challenges and heartache. Loving orphans is not an easy calling. They have faced things and endured things that we can't even fathom. I am guilty of wanting them to act "normal" when this is not even possible given their life's experiences...
So, I am learning that sometimes you just have to pull yourself up by the bootstraps and keep walking.... We do, because there is at least one "starfish" over there that is flourishing after being thrown back into the ocean.... and we pray that our other starfish will feel the cool, refreshing water of God's love and our family, and flourish as well... until then... well, we just march on.
