Prayer warriors needed...

What was supposed to be John, the kids
and I this summer in Ethiopia, has grown.
It's a great thing really...
A chance for me to meet up with
two women (and a friend)
whom I respect and value greatly.
Women from two different states,
whom I have never met in person,
but hear from almost daily.
We have a common bond...
we are moms with children at Kolfe.
Moms who share the same passion for orphans,
the same heart for the least of these,
and from time to time,
the same struggles this passion provides.
We share something else as well...
it's a desire to give our sons
something they have never had.
(or at least, not for a long while)
Nine days to experience life
living as a family.
Remember this?
~ the tears of orphans run inside ~
Well, for a week, we want to dry up those tears,
and replace them with family, and laughter,
and really great memories of them being LOVED.
If my 19 year old said it was his dream,
to pick up his mom from the airport...
How much more would it mean to him,
to be down the hall from his family for a week?
Here's where YOU come in...
You see, orphans aren't valued in Ethiopia,
the way God values them.
They are treated like second class citizens.
These boys have been called a slew of names,
had rocks thrown at them,
and in general...
Their life doesn't matter to most people.
BUT... their life DOES matter to God,
and it does matter to us.
Pray that we will find
a guest house to stay in
that will accept the boys as guests.
Just promising to pay
 for their room isn't enough.
They are an embarrassment to
some guest house owners.
BUT they are not
an embarrassment to God,
and they are not
 an embarrassment to us.
Pray we find a place... soon!
Why?
Because Jesus loves the little children,
ALL the children of the world...
