A special visit...

Three weeks ago my Ethiopian friend,
(who currently lives in Kenya)
Ermias, contacted me to say that he was taking
a trip back home to Ethiopia.
He wanted my permission to do this...
He wanted to meet our sweet Mezgebu.
"ABSOLUTELY!!!" was my response.
In the past two months, there have been many things
that I have needed to say to Mezgebu...
and things that he wanted to say to me as well...
but sometimes, that language just gets in the way.
Ermias knows, he has been praying, and well...
he speaks Amharic, too.  What a blessing!
Earlier in the week, I got this.
Mezgebu, Emnatu, Gizachew and Ermias
It was a short meeting,
just enough to introduce themselves
and make plans for a second visit on Sunday.
Sunday looks like it went well.
I have heard that "Dr. Ermias" was fun.
(He's actually a first year student, but I laughed
when they tried to Skype me at 3 and 3:30am to
tell me they were with "Dr." Ermias.)
I love the fact that these boys...
all of them have a new Ethiopian contact
outside the orphanage.
We are praying that a friendship will develop,
and that Ermias will be a blessing
to all of these precious, precious young men!
My favorite photo...  God is so GOOD!!!
